With only a few days left until the start of the Serbian census, we are happy to re-release 'Proud Roma' and 'Hurjasa' with Serbian subtitles to further inspire pride in Roma identity and encourage widespread participation in the upcoming census.

On the occasion of the upcoming census taking place in Serbia, Proud Roma Free Europe in collaboration with Opre Roma Serbia organized the panel discussion “Proud Roma throughout the History of Serbia“ exploring the dynamics of the Roma movement in Serbia.

The movie explores the challenges, the myths, and the fears surrounding Covid among Roma in Serbia and in the UK. At the same time, the film aims to offer a positive perspective by uncovering stories of Roma-led efforts and initiatives to fight Covid-19 and by highlighting the important role of Roma women in their communities.
