Open House at the ERIAC offices in Belgrade, Serbia

On the occasion of World Roma Day, ERIAC Serbia opened its doors to the media and other institutions. On that occasion, an event was organized in the premises of ERIAC in Belgrade between 10 am and 2pm. The event was media-accompanied by RTS and RTV.

The office manager of ERIAC Serbia, Silvija Nesic, spoke about the main goals and activities of ERIAC. On behalf of the Council of Europe, mission head of office Tobias Flesenkemper and Marina Vasic as well as the ROMACTED programme manager attended.

The Serbian State Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, Stevan Gligorin, visited the new ERIAC offices and celebrated International  Roma Day there.

Representatives of the Roma Integration team from the Regional Cooperation Council that came were the Head of Office Orhan Usein and Shejla Fidani, Policy Expert. The head of the Roma Educational Fund of Serbia, Adi Sinani also attended the Open House.

All guests had the opportunity to see the space, talk to the ERIAC Serbia team and share ideas about joint work and cooperation. During the visits two documentaries were shown – Romanistan dialogue produced by ERIAC and Paper, horse and birds, produced by artist Zoran Tairovic and supported by OSFS.
